The Love, Chloe Foundation, which runs a wonderful program called Monkey In My Chair for children who have to miss school due to cancer, hosted the race, with proceeds going to The Cure Starts Now Foundation to fund DIPG research.  The Love, Chloe Foundation was created in memory of Chloe Feyerherm, who battled DIPG for 11 months before passing away at the age of 7 in October 2007.  The 2015 Race Against the Odds in Salina honored Chloe, Michael, and 9 other children from the Salina area who are battling or have battled cancer — Ava, Reed, Ally, Ethan, Melissa, Browynn, Morgan, Oscar and Chelsea.  We commend the Love, Chloe Foundation and the Cure Starts Now for running a great event.
